What time is check-in and check-out to Barcelona accommodation?

13:00 pm check-in to apartment and 11:00 am check out from apartment. An earlier check-in to apartment may be arranged by leaving your luggage and coming back at 13.00 when the apartment is already clean. Regarding the check-out, if you have a later departure time of your plane it is possible to leave your luggage in the office or at the apartment between 11:00 and 19:00. However, please, be aware that this can be arranged only on your departure day. The apartment unfortunately must be vacated at 11:00, due to following arrivals. Arrivals are only accepted between 10.00 am and 2.00 am. Any late check in after 23.00 pm in the night is possible with a 15 EUR charge.

Is breakfast included at Barcelona accommodation?

No, but there is no need as all apartments booked with Barcelona accommodation have a kitchen, and every accommodation will have several restaurants in the area. Also, self service breakfast can be provided for an extra rate.

Is there a lift at my accommodation?

Most of our apartments booked with Barcelona accommodation do have a lift although some of the places in older buildings may not. Please ask us first if this is an important issue for you.

"Are the accommodations safe?"

Safety is one of the qualities we stress most when choosing our Barcelona accommodation apartments.

"Is it possible to bring a pet?"

No pets are allowed at any of our apartments

How do I pay?

Payment in Euros is payable upon arrival at the apartment. Cash is the preferred method of payment. Due to charges made by credit (and debit) card companies there is a 2% charge for most credit card payments (Amex 5%). Please, bring the ID of any person paying by credit card.

What does the check-in look like?

Guests are asked to arrive upon their arrival time. Please phone 30 min. before reaching the apartment or send an sms, so that one of our staff have time to arrive to the apartment upon your check in time. There, you are asked to fill in our form and make the payment. We provide you with tourist information and security tips about the area and the apartment, and give you your keys and a map. On this form you are asked to fill in your cc details. By doing this you agree to assume financial responsibility: for damage which occurs to the apartment or its furnishings during your stay, for not returning keys (which will result in a charge of 30 euro per set), for additional cleaning if necessary (in exceptional cases where the cleaning required is abnormal; a charge of 15 euro for each hour over 2 hours), for calling staff out to carry out unnecessary duties (15 euro per hour including traveling). If you do not wish your card to be used for this purpose, you are asked to pay a cash deposit of 150 euro which will be refunded by appointment upon departure. Other apartments will always require a 30 min. advance call.

How can I make my reservation with minimum delay?

The easiest way is to book a chosen apartment by providing credit card details in the special safe form. You can also send a request for your preferred apartment and write into the comments field that if available you are reserving the apartment provisionally. Then we send a formal confirmation letter by email. Any confirmation to be sent by fax for visa purposes will be required to be confirmed with a deposition. UNCONFIRMED RESERVATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

How do I secure my booking?

Before sending confirmation letter, we will ask you for your credit card details, or a deposition to be paid by bank transfer or paypal. Convenient and safe: We have a 100% secure encrypted connection for you to enter your credit card details. If you have not received a confirmation mail within a few business hours, please contact us. These details can also be safely sent to us by fax or simply phoned to our booking department in our working hours.

"How long has your company existed?"

In early summer 2000 the company was founded in Barcelona. We were one of the first companies in Barcelona offering serviced apartments. At present, we are experienced to make your stay safe and great.

Do I get fresh towels and bed linen?

Yes, you get one body towel, one hand towel for each person and a full set of fresh bed linen upon arrival.

Are there any additional fees?

There are NO compulsory additional fees. Optional fees will apply only if you have a SPECIAL REQUEST, such as an additional bed or a baby cot (25 euro transport charge). Extra services include also mobile phone rental, a food welcome pack, cava, or flowers. All of these are arranged only on request and are subject to approval.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Barcelona accommodation cannot be responsible for weather conditions, illness, changes in travel plans or delays. WE RECOMMEND YOU TAKE OUT CANCELLATION INSURANCE. In case confirmed booking had been made and our clients fail to inform us about their decision to cancel their stay in our apartments prior to 72 hours before their arrival, we unfortunately have to demand partial compensation. The details below are maximum penalties; if possible we prefer to ask for mild compensation, the only case we are strict is "no show". The cancellation fee will be debited automatically from your credit card or deposition. No show or cancellation 72 hours before arrival with a charge of at least the first night stay. If any cancellation of your reservation 72 hours prior to your arrival, and if any deposition has been sent by bank transfer or paypal, transfer costs will be debited from the deposition amount. In rare cases Barcelona accommodation apartments can become no longer available after a booking has been made. This might happen for varying reasons from water damage to unscheduled building works. In this case we will attempt to reaccommodate our guests in suitable accommodation of our own at a price equivalent to the original agreed. In the case our own accommodation is not available we will not be held responsible for any extra costs the client bears over and above the original price agreed in securing alternative accommodation. In the case re-accommodation is impossible we issue a full refund.
